How the care is given
- STEP 1You call us or leave your number
A nurse calls you back within the hour, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, reads the prescription with you and plans the visits.
- STEP 2The nurse sets up the drip
They show their badge, check the prescription and the treatment, set up the drip and monitor it.
- STEP 3Every visit is recorded
Time, treatment given, vital signs: everything is noted, for the whole length of the treatment.
Keep the prescription, the prescribed treatment and the hospital report, if there is one, to hand. On the phone, the nurse tells you if anything else is needed.
For regular care
Each plan is adjusted after a home assessment; the price is given to you before any commitment.
Back Home
After a hospital stay, for 7 or 14 days
- An assessment on the day of return
- One nursing visit a day, as prescribed: dressings, injections, drips, monitoring
- A report for your doctor at the end
Our commitments
Home care you can check, at every visit.
- A qualified caregiver, with a badge
A qualified nurse or nursing assistant, trained in CAPSI’s methods. You know their name before the first visit.
- Every visit recorded
Arrival and departure times, care given, vital signs: everything is written down. A relative named by the person receiving care can call us for news.
- A replacement if needed
If the planned caregiver cannot come, we offer you a replacement within 24 hours.
- A nurse to answer you
A call back within the hour, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm; outside those hours, as soon as we open.
Your questions
Do I need a prescription for a drip at home?
Yes. The nurse sets up the drip prescribed by your doctor, following the prescription.
Can you come every day during the treatment?
Yes. Visits are planned as prescribed, for the whole length of the treatment, weekends included when arranged in advance.
My relative is leaving hospital with a drip: can you take over?
Yes, that is the “Back Home” plan, for 7 or 14 days: an assessment on the day of return, then one nursing visit a day as prescribed.
How much does a drip at home cost?
The price depends on the treatment, how long it lasts and the district: we give it to you on the phone, before any commitment.
